No, I still don't have a rec for you, but I promise I will have one soon.  I have to work on one for the Fictionators and I'll share it here when I do.  But, the LYLS and ALE Tribute is taking up most of my spare time, that is except for how RL is kicking my butt right now.


I'm super proud of myself for adding the column to the left which includes all of the youtube videos for the songs that inspired my one-shots.  I promise you if you listen to the songs first, you will appreciate the stories even more.


Don't forget the Tribute on the PicTease for LolaShoes LYLS and ALE.  The sequel is upon us soon.



I think I'm going to add a little box to the right that will at least share what stories I'm reading at the moment, I think that will be cool, look for that soon.

Ok, my girlfriends next door read a LOT more than I do, so I'll do my best. I'm thinking instead of weekly or goodness daily (thanks to Aciepey) rec's, I will probably just talk about what is pwning me. I'll probably dicuss the chapters that pwn me for the week. But, I'll try to remember to give you pretty pics in the process. And don't forget the PicTease. I'm looking forward to seeing the pics that people use as teasers for their stories, I'm sure I will have a harder time NOT reading their stories. It is a running joke between my sis, (Aciepey is my internet sis) and the fact that she rec's me a story almost every day, and the fact that I will probably die an old woman and still have a huge "to read" list.

Just to get us ready for the Tribute toLet Your Light Shine and A Life Extraordinary by LolaShoes, I am going to share my all time favorite quote from ALE.

Bella waking with a start on Isle Esme, not knowing where I am. Her body melts and her heart races when she sees me in the doorway. I feel her crushing love and it fits together with mine in a perfect set.

I looked down at her and her eyes were heavy with need. None of what just happened in the previous several minutes had done anything to diminish her state; her love day was positively consuming her.

“I love you beyond sanity, I needed you to know that,” she whispered these words and the images kept coming and coming and I couldn’t stop drinking them in. And then her voice was quiet, and I knew she was scared but still hungry for me, and I couldn’t speak because of the love that was filling my head. Her quiet, scared, hungry voice said: “Edward…do you wish I could take it back?”

Everything stopped then. Even the myriad of images. I don’t know, even now, if Aro froze, or if I froze or if time froze, but all I knew was that I had to fix her hurt, because she needed to know in this moment that I had never loved her more. That I couldn’t possibly know just five minutes ago that my love could double, triple. I was mad for her.

“Not in a million years. Not ever. Never say that again.” I knew my eyes were burning, I had worried that my intensity sometimes scared her, but I now knew it didn’t; she had to know that what was happening was completing everything I ever needed from her.

This to me was so pivotal for Edward.  I always felt like ALE was Edward and Bella learning that their love was equal to the others, and what better way than to give Edward what he needed to be able to finally see that.  Edward gave Bella immortality, which in my mind always spoke to the depths of his love for her, and this section in ALE to me spoke to the depths of Bella's love for Edward.  The most brilliant part of this was that although Edward longed to see inside Bella's mind, it was Bella's need for him to finally see her love for him through her own eyes that moved her to touch Aro.  Again, brilliance and a part of ALE that will always be very close to my heart.
